Perth City

Perth City is a modern and sophisticated city with a multicultural atmosphere. The climate is mild and brings sunshine through the year. The Indian Ocean is only 20 minuets away from the city. There are beautiful beaches and many activities such as surfing, windsurfing, body boarding, and fishing, are very popular for all ages.
The City overlooks the Swan River, the pride of Perth providing magnificent views. If you want to enjoy a panoramic view of Perth City and the Swan River, Kings Park is the best spot to visit. It's located west of the central business district and covers 400 hectares along the bank of the Swan River.
Fremantle
30 minutes from Perth City, Fremantle is a port city that has maritime and cultural heritage sites, which attract many tourists. But that's not the only reason visitors love Fremantle. Its relaxed, multicultural and cosmopolitan atmosphere appeals not only to the many tourists but also to the locals who choose to reside there.
There is always something happening on weekends in Freo. Street performances, weekend markets, sporting events, exhibitions, anything you can think of. South Terrace is the main street and is also called the "Cappuccino Strip", a variety of cafes, restaurants, and sidewalk entertainment creates the unique atmosphere of this area.
 
 Swan Valley
Only 30 minutes from the city, the Swan Valley is one of WA's best known wine grape growing areas.
There are about 30 wineries in this area. Each winery offers not only wine tasting, but also excellent meals, services, and spectacular views. This area has so much to see, from historical buildings to wildlife parks.
Access from the city is mainly by car, public transport, and tour coaches. If you want to enjoy a more holiday feeling, to a wine cruise ferry is an alternative and certainly attractive way to get to Swan Valley.
Sunset Coast
Sunset Coast drive runs from Scarbourough beach up to Sorrento Quay along the Indian Ocean. If you've plan a relaxing and enjoyable weekend out, it's not a bad idea to choose this area.
What you can expect is excellent views, beach activities, quality dinning out, a wide range of shopping, etc...The choice is yours!
Scarbourough is one of the most popular areas for surfers. It is casual but active. Perth's landmark hotel, Observation City is located along Scarbourough beach with high standard restaurants and bars, and a mixture of "young" and casual shops.
Sorrento Quay is a leisure, diving and entertainment centre with selected shops and restaurants. Activities and entertainment facilities, such as Underwater World, putter golf, water parks, picnic and BBQ areas and live-music are available.

Rottnest Island
Rottnest Island is located just 20 km off the coast of Perth. Beautiful beaches and tranquillity give you the best holiday experience. Enjoy swimming, fishing, diving, snorkelling, and hiking if you feel like a active holiday. On the island you meet small native marsupial "Quakka". The most popular way to get there is by ferry from Perth, Fremantle or Hillareys.
